The City of Southport, in collaboration with Up Your Arts and Downtown Southport, Inc., is excited to announce the return of the Southport Concert Series for the upcoming season. This year’s series promises an outstanding lineup of musical performances, bringing the community together on the Garrison Lawn at Fort Johnston.
To encourage greater participation, the Southport Concert Series has shifted from Thursdays to Sundays this year. This change is designed to accommodate a broader audience and provide more opportunities for both performers and attendees to engage in the vibrant music scene Southport has to offer.
The 2024 series runs Sunday afternoons this spring and fall from 2pm to 4pm, provided the weather is good. The concerts will be open to the public, welcoming attendees of all ages. Guests are encouraged to bring picnic blankets, chairs, and dancing shoes.
